J. Cole - The Fall-Off
85

some fun interpolations and some great thought out works mixed in with just enough cringe for it to be unquestionably J.Cole, a really good listen though and imo worth the hype Cole set the album up with

Hayley Williams - Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party
95

So happy people are realising just how great this album is, its a delicate showcase of self doubt, ego and also dives head first into topics most have ran from.

MJ Lenderman - And the Wind (Live and Loose!)
95

Only learnt of MJ recently but really cant get enough of his music, looking forward to more

Kid Cudi - Free
75

im so happy to enjoy a kid cudi album again, i like this direction

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
99

the first 4 track run is something else. feels like both artists know exactly who they are and are at a point with their work where it just creates the exact world they want on each track. The features are exceptional too like naturally kendrick and nas bring their elite levels but tyler also entered a different bag with his verse and it might just be the best of the lot.

Bob Dylan - Empire Burlesque
70

silly and fun, not incredible but still a fine listen for nothing too serious

Bob Dylan - Infidels
90

idk why 80s Dylan is just a style i find really fun, and this album encapsulates it. A fun sounding album which still has some of the sensational writing assosciated with Dylan's artistry

Sleep Token - Even in Arcadia
25

Feel a real lack of identity with this one, leading to a directionless album, some of the beats sound promising but then the vocals sound like theyre from a completely different genre. The indecisiveness between soulless metal, pop, rock or hip hop really hurts this album

D'Angelo - Voodoo
100

This album is just something different. It presents himself as a relatively simple neo soul album but still has some of the most perfect R&B tones and some magically harmonised notes leading to one of the most perfect albums ever created. Combining art to create a sensational and intimate project which can still give feelings of yearning and emptiness - a genuinely one of a kind lightning bolt of a project that i think every artist has wished they could catch themselves.

ODD EYE CIRCLE - Max & Match
95

The most impressive and creative Kpop project ive heard- i only wish there was more

Playboi Carti - MUSIC
45

there was like 4 good songs on here then another 6 which could make a decent 10 track album. At 30 songs though the rest are forgettable or genuinely unlistenable. An album with no real direction or interesting theme put out to shut people up about carti releasing music for a bit... thank god

Billy Joel - Piano Man
80

Piano man might just be one of the greatest pieces of art ever created and i adore it but i cant help but think of a certain frog jumping off a bridge

Kelela - In The Blue Light
90

incredibly heartfelt and smooth with beautiful vocals and instrumentation. Creates an immaculate atmosphere where i just want to close my eyes and enjoy the full project

Kanye West - Graduation
75

take your meds prick

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
90

cant keep having listening to this while having it at a 7

55>72>90

Ja Rule - Pain Is Love
90

i love this more than i should idc

Imagine Dragons - Continued Silence EP
40

40 bc of the radioactive mv

Mac Miller - Balloonerism
90

Again Macs post-humous catalogue expands with this being possibly my favourite of his projects. Both a haunting and ethereal piece of work which at times details sombrely the exact path Mac ended up taking while still sounding oddly hopeful, being creatively superb and an early contender for album of the year

Snoop Dogg - Missionary
80

the vocal mix is a little horrible at times and sometimes the production sounds like its trying to be a bit too dramatic but id be lying if i said i didnt have a genuinely fun time listening to this album and snoop sounds a lot better than i couldve expected - with some cool features and amazing moments ill be coming back to this for sure
