The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
97

I don't think I really need to say much here. It's The Beatles, and it's Sgt. Pepper's. It's a masterpiece of creativity that 99% of musicians can only dream of reaching, but that goes for most of the Beatles' work. I think it's good that they set the bar so high though, it motivates people to do their absolute best. Anyway, amazing album! Has the Brin stamp of approval!!!

Panchiko - D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L
90

You don't need to hear a recap of the whole 4chan story, all you need to know is that the hype is justified. It's a really great album and a must listen in my book. It has been meat ridden over and over for a reason. It has almost hypnotic vocals and great instumentals to boot. Panchiko has something special with D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L, and I'm happy to see that they are capitalizing off their success, they deserve it.

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb
80

I feel like I'm the only person who actually likes Cherry Bomb. Yes, it has shit mixing, yes some of the songs sound like ass, but that's why I love it. The songs are fun, loud, and unrefined. Is it his best work objectively? No, so I can't in good conscience give it higher than an 80 or so, but I can't deny that I have a real soft spot for this album. Fight me.

Jack Stauber - Pop Food
90

Jack has one of the most unique and eerie styles in both music and art that I have seen in anyone in a long time. Dont have much to say outside that, to be honest. I think the project speaks for itself. Overall, it is a really great album that makes my ears very happy.

Tally Hall - Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum
85

Ima be up front and say that I am a MMMM meatrider but I will also say that this album has some stinker moments. Overall though I do think that it is a great project especially if you go into it not expecting the most mature, dark album on the face of the earth. It's a goofy album with some darker songs and tones and I think it did its job perfectly.

Jack Stauber - HiLo
95

Truly beautiful piece of art from Jack that is not only much more mature compared to Pop Food but also more refined. Jack was really on his A game when he made HiLo and I don't think there is a better way to convey that than to listen to it for yourself. If we are ever to get another album from him I wouldn't be surprised if he one-ups himself again, cause he seems to be really good at finding his best version of his art. But, if we don't, then I would be wildly content with this ... read more
