Having only heard Panzermensch previously, the rest of the album was absolutely not what I expected. Makes you feel like a jolly dolphin splashing about in a frutiger aero waterworld.
I love the first two tracks, abrasive and manic. The album slows down after those two (except Demon Chaser which goes back to the manic vibe), but it stays fun and never bores.
Very repetitive but I mostly don't mind it with how hard these industrial techno beats go. Tight Fit was awkward and uncomfortable to listen to because of the whispery moaning.
I've listened to the re-release version. Overall it's pretty much Betrayal part 2, it's a similar kind of pleasant ambient techno with an oriental twist and a lot of samples thrown in. Those voice samples have started to get a bit annoying in Dimashq Frequency pt. 2 in particular. My favorite tracks were the first halves of Sub Cahra and Red Snow. It was a pleasant listen, but nothing particularly memorable (but it didn't get boring either), with a few exceptions such as Haunted Heroes which feels like a gem hidden in this album, and the title track which was neat too.
