favorites: rush, in your room, walking in my shoes, i feel you
pop album of the year! so cohesive. the transitions are crazy, i didn't even realize i was on the next song half the time! best pop album since renaissance, will go down as one of the best of the decade. these instrumentals are some of the best i've heard recently, this is how pop music should sound.
favs: cry for me, that's my floor, killing time, image, death & romance, vampire in the corner, the ballad of matt & mica
how ppl thought getting girl in red & kevin abstract to cover talking heads was a good idea is beyond me
love how they knew these songs were fucking amazing they added clapping sound effects to some of them
listening to this with noise cancelling headphones is literally world changing
favs: the great curve, houses in motion, once in a lifetime, born under punches (the heat goes on), crosseyed and painless
gorgeous sonic atmosphere, love the synth lines (sometimes they drag on for too long, but i don't care), the piano melodies are good and the input of the saxophone works very well with the already added on instrumentals. very cute album filled w very pretty instrumentals. (my favorite song is 'all the black keys!', it makes my music theory obsessed self very happy.)
i love how the instrumentation encapsulates the overall feel and his emotions that he was trying to express and i love how he uses that to showcase his emotions instead of the lyrics. i also love the authenticity of this project. really great little ep, rest in peace <3
my favorite part was when he stopped a song to let teezo touchdown bark and howl on the mic
can you guys please put the new cover she put on streaming instead of this cover ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ its so much better
