Mathcore isn’t quite my thing yet but this was a fun listen nonetheless. All the vocals were great and the riffs were really fun.
I appreciate how iconic Pray for Plagues is, and there are some interesting parts on this album. However, it's not for me, and honestly felt very overwhelming and exhausting at times. I'm excited to see if the re-record will make me like this more, since it's not a bad album at all it just needs to be cleaned up a bit.
EDIT: The album is growing on me, the songs themselves are quite good, the production is just very muddy. I have a feeling I’ll love the re-recording!
Not completely sure about how I feel about this yet. It’s very unpolished, as expected, but also has some really cool riffs. I don’t hate it but it’s also not my favourite. I feel like it’s just one of those records you need to have a strong nostalgic connection to.
A decent album! Enjoyed the heavier parts but the melodic sections weren’t my favourite. A good listen but I don’t see myself revisiting this.
Such a cool album! I love the theatricality and haunting sound, reminds me of Ice Nine Kills. I’m also always a sucker for a concept album. The second half bled together a little bit for me but I definitely want to check out more of this band after this!
A solid album, I enjoyed checking this out! Not something I can see myself coming back to and none of the tracks specifically stood out, but it was a good listen anyway.
A super fun record with a great mix and really cohesive sound. The singles are my fave tracks along with a handful of others, but overall the album is a banger.
Enjoyed this a lot, the album is full of bops! Not an absolute fave and there's nothing super new about the sound, but a good number of tracks stood out. I liked this a lot more than American Motor Sports to be honest.
Loved it as much as Vol. 1, the heaviest track is once again my favourite.
Wasn't blown away on first listen but after re-listening this is actually quite excellent. Not rating it higher only because the EP feels too short to actually sink your teeth into with tracks this good.
A very gentle and calming album, with a mix of Noah Kahan and Ed Sheeran vibes. Nothing outrageously new or unique but a beautiful listen all the way through that I'd highly recommend.
Super fun to listen to, one of my fave releases so far. A couple of chiller songs help add some variety, and there’s a bit of a party sound which I love.
Very refreshing new pop punk. Will have to keep it in the rotation for a bit to pick out faves, but this was very enjoyable. Hot Mulligan vibes while still having a very original sound.
