Kind of disappointed this album is only 17 minutes but at the same time it feels like the perfect length. Super heavy in the best way.
Not the best Beartooth album or my favourite, however something about it is deeply compelling that makes it fun to relisten to.
A solid album throughout, although the first half is much stronger. I love how raw and genuine the emotions are, and Sick and Disgusting absolutely floored me. Diving back after listening to The Surface just shows you how far Caleb has come as a person, and how unique and special his vocals have always been. There’s not too much diversity in the tracks thematically, but the sound is varied enough to be interesting throughout.
Got bored around the second half, nothing really stood out to me.
Not really my thing but it was enjoyable enough. The Ed Sheeran collab is quite excellent though.
A pretty solid album although it's not something that will stick with me.
I ended up enjoying this a lot more than I expected, but wouldn't listen to the album as a whole again.
Not a bad album overall, but not very memorable or unique. Has a handful of standout tracks but I wouldn't revisit this.
Loved Mature as a single and was really hopeful about this album, but unfortunately it didn't hit. Cute overall, but I only really liked the singles. The lyrics were cute though and it's a cohesive project.
Enjoyable enough but it's a bit all over the place with too much going on and no real direction. Didn't stick with me after the first listen but it did improve on relistening.
Not really any standout songs, but a solid album overall. Love how it's heavy throughout but never drags.
