quite an excellent solo effort from Kevin. his dreamy production and soothing voice make for a pleasant experience with an R&B album. while there are certainly tracks that feel like they dont contribute much, theres always typically a verse or two that catches my attention. while it is a shorter project itd be interesting to hear the same levels of introspective lyricism and dreamy R&B production on a BROCKHAMPTON project. though only time will tell if the boys will be able to pull ... read more
first half is very boring pop rock with vocoder voice effects to make it kind of psychedelic-y. second half picks up a lot of slack but one of the least interesting psychedelic albums ive heard. considering this is my first King Gizz album i really hope a lot of what ive heard about them sticks true for their releases prior to this.
sssalrite. i see the appeal in this album but i think im very much not in the demographic for it. production sounds really nice im just not a big fan of the lyricism on this album. it feels like lizzo is trying to seduce me which makes me uncomfortable.

for once i think saying an album puts me to sleep is a positive thing. holy fuck when i first listened to this it was, an experience to say the least. i realized how experimental it was but i wasnt sure how to connect with it. upon further listens id discover this is one of my all time favorites. even if it essentially is the most extreme form of shoegaze, i think its interesting to see what a genre can feel like when its pushed to its limit. in this case it just bathes in the mass amount of ... read more
