A genuine feat of musicality, insanely impressive never heard anything like it.
The features, the beats, the lyrics, everything here is clean and impressive and sounds fantastic. Going into songs like So Far Ahead and Chandeliers I was genuinely shocked as it was not at all what I expected, like I did not expect to here Nas rapping over one of the hardest trap beats I’ve heard all year on a Clipse album. It’s sweet and to the point which is the type of album we need in today’s climate. It’s really a palette cleanser with killer bars, killer ... read more
pretty solid but honestly glad these are the "throwaways" because they feel a little scattered, not bad but not incredible
Some of the production is great, like Preacher Man and Beauty and the Beast, but it feels pretty empty and lifeless not including those tracks, and Close To You is just ok cuz of the amazing sample but the second half of that track is ass, BULLY is mid, the spanish song is ass, Circles uses the One Beer sample and it’s a fire beat with a decent flow, I Can’t Bare is pretty ok, Highs and Lows sounds like a shitty demo, and Showtime is pretty ok, some of the lyrics are very ... read more
CARTI MY EVIL TWIIIIIIIIIN
pretty good not too shabby, 5 year wait?? idk about that but cool features, kendrick does his thing, weeknd does his thing, travis and future and thug do their things, lil uzi songs should’ve been longer but other than that just a couple of misses mostly hits
fav: rather lie | worst: opm babi (actually mix it and it’s a decent song)
Even with 22 songs, it doesn’t over-stay it’s welcome, and with a soundscape as expansive as Hurry Up Tomorrow, it couldn’t be a more fitting closer to The Weeknd.
the mix automatically improved the song, but the song is still brought down by travis and his weak performance
just insane that weird fishes and yonkers are back to back in this album lmao
genuinely one of the most underrated Q songs and Alc songs, although it has a lengthy intro the beat is just too gorgeous to care, schoolboy’s actual verse is fantastic and the songs just an absolute vibe, so underlooked
So far, through the first couple listens, you can tell he’s just doing whatever he wants, in style. No conforming to his formula, countless experimenting, it’s all here. Combines sounds from all his previous albums into some stunning production, jazzy instrumentation, synth’s galore, incredible melodic moments, disgusting bangers and all around, even if not the most consistent, is really just Tyler through and through.
