As a heads up, I won't be going into anywhere as much detail with this as I did in my review of The Meadowlands, but I think this is a pretty good read nonetheless.
And giant shoutout to Noah's Music Archives on YouTube for uploading this.
When this popped up on my recommended feed on YouTube after listening to a bunch of Wrens rarities that weren't on Spotify, I about lost my shit. Having been a fan of the Wrens for a little over a decade at that point, I had known that this ... read more

As it stands right now, with less than a month of knowing this band, this is a revelation. AWLWLB is my favorite right now from Converge and has potential to become one of my favorite hardcore albums ever because I just cannot stop.
I am stupid impressed by this band. It's been roughly three weeks, and I have barely been able to listen to anyone else. They're like the metalcore Fugazi, just way too fucking consistent. Pre this, I'm still getting familiar, but obviously they're trying to figure out what Converge really means and should sound like. But post Jane Doe, I really don't think you can go wrong. This band is as hardcore as anything I heard, but with one consistently pummeling song after ... read more
