This is easily one of my least favorite albums from illenium and I think it’s personally one of his most inconsistent as well. I think there are moments on here that are really good and blend the metal and electronic sounds nicely but then there are other song that I find to be annoying at times or forgettable and redundant. I think most of the songs on here are ok but nothing too memorable and then there are a couple highlights and a couple lowlights for me. This is ... read more
This was my first time listening to Love and I had no idea what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised with this album and the vibe it gave off. The psychedelic nature of this album and the writing and singing were great but the main thing I loved about this album was the instrumentation. I loved when this album would break out into our instrumental bliss of amazing guitars and strings and it just sounded amazing. There were so many amazing songs on here and I enjoyed every song on here but I ... read more
This was a very interesting album to say the least. Honestly I was a bit mixed on this album. I thought some songs had incredibly fun and catchy instrumentals that had me grooving but then there were some songs that were either really repetitive or honestly just really forgettable to me. I think this album is a mixed bag and I enjoyed some songs but most of the songs on here I thought here pretty ok or just forgettable to me. Some good moments but nothing I see myself honestly revisiting all ... read more
This was a really cool live album but honesty I thought it was just good. There weren’t any songs that truly blew me away on here but I honestly would see myself having a good time listening to this live. A very enjoyable experience with great singing, writing, and amazing instrumentation. A solid album for sure but I don’t see myself revisiting this at all. I don’t really have too much more to say about this.
This was my first time listening to the flaming lips and I had no idea what to expect coming into this but holy crap I was blown away by this album. I loved the soundscape of this album and it sounds incredibly unique for its time. I don’t remember anything else sounding like this in the early 2000s. The singing, instrumentation, and vocal effects all meshed together beautifully in a near perfect way for me. I loved basically every single song on here and thought almost every single track ... read more
This was my first time listening to Emmylou Harris and I had no idea what to expect going into this but I knew it was country so I wasn’t too excited but this honestly was a pretty good album in my opinion. I really enjoyed the opening track and a couple other songs here and there that stood out to me. The instrumentation and writing were great on those tracks but for the majority of the album I was expecting just a tad more if I’m being honest. I still enjoyed this album and ... read more
This is my first time listening to the chemical brothers but this was a really sick album experience. I think this album peaked in the beginning and end however though. I thought the different dynamic sounds were super cool to hear especially for how early on in this genre it was. This album did an amazing job at expanding the sound and pushing the boundaries for this genre but I do think this album progressively got less and less memorable at least for me as it went on. I do think the last two ... read more
Wait, bro actually dropped an album that’s wild. Honestly never saw this coming lmao. Ever since I heard his singles I have been obsessed with his music. If you haven’t heard of Tsubi club before and you enjoy digicore and hyperpop then I would highly recommend checking out his music and his singles. I honestly didn’t really know what to expect from a full album from him but I was expecting it to be hype and honestly for the most part it was! I do think this album is a bit ... read more
This PJ Harvey album is on a similar level to all of the other projects that I’ve heard from her up to this point. I think this album is unique however because I do think it’s a completely different vibe from anything else she has done that I’ve heard so far. I think this one of her more pop and indie sounding albums as well and a lot of her songs have a more stripped back feel to them. I think for the most part this album was good but honestly there wasn’t too many ... read more
This was my first time listening to Keith Jarrett and I can see why people love this album so much. It is genuinely one of the most interesting, unique, and beautiful piano albums that I have ever heard. I loved how this entire album was improvisation and he just felt everything and you can tell he loved doing this. My only issue is obviously for me is the length of these songs. I’m almost never going to revisit any of these songs again purely because of how long these songs are so ... read more
Thundercats newest album is easily one of his best in my opinion. I especially loved the songs in the first half of this album as I thought those songs were a lot more memorable and unique than the songs in the second half of the album. I think this is probably his most consistent album to date and the features on here were some of the coolest and thought felt out of all of his albums to date. The production is incredible, the instrumentation is beautiful, and the singing and writing are top ... read more

Revisiting this album again made me realize that nostalgia is a very powerful thing. I definitely under rated this album the first time I rated this album. I enjoyed this album a lot more than I thought I was going to but going into this again made me remember how many songs on here I used to listen to. I think this is illeniums most consistent album that I’ve heard up to this point after revisiting this. I do think the second half of this album is definitely weaker ... read more
Kid Cudis new EP sounds like he’s going back to his usual sound a bit more on here compared to his last album but none of the songs on this EP are really new or interesting for Cudi. The songs are decent and are a vibe but they really just feel like filler or standard Cudi songs that don’t stand out in any way compared to the rest of his music. So while I did think this was decent, there wasn’t really anything interesting enough to make me want to come back and revisit this ... read more
Fiona Apple’s debut album is truly stunning and a beautiful listen and I think it’s just as good in quality as her second album is. I think this album has so many perfect songs, amazing moments of instrumentation, amazing writing, and beautiful singing. This album is another near perfect album from her in my eyes and I think she has done a truly great job at making two really beautiful and fun albums. I do think the slower moments on here are a tad less memorable just for me ... read more
Imma be real. I don’t understand why people like this. Like I understand it’s super wacky and experimental especially for its time but half of this album is genuinely unlistenable to me. I think there are so many downright annoying or terrible songs on here that are just too all over the place and obscure to even make sense. Like I understand that’s what they are going for but the majority of the songs on here didn’t even sound like songs. I liked the rock instrumentals ... read more
This album was really really good. I especially loved the first three tracks as I thought those were the most up beat, and the best instrumentation, and were just my personal favorite moments on here. I thought the rest of the album was still good but I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t slightly underwhelmed with the rest of the tracks on here as they did not reach the same highs for me as the first three songs but I still thought this was a super enjoyable album. I loved the ... read more
Kanye’s newest album after his apology is honestly a bit of a mixed bag. Going into this I was honestly hoping for more of a concise work that addressed the issues with his anti semitism and everything involving his mental health after his multiple public apologies but instead we get another unfinished mess of an album. I don’t condone anything that Kanye has said or done lately but I have to respect the fact that his apology actually does seem to be genuine and it seems like he ... read more

This album is undeniably a classic trap album and has some of the best hits of 2015 period. This album brings back so many fun memories for me and I loved so many songs on this album. This was my first time revisiting this album in full in years and I loved relistening to all of these fun ass songs. I still love so many songs on here and I think fetty way did an amazing job of just making hits and bringing something different to this ... read more
Fcukers debut album is a pretty solid dance and club album and it’s really consistent but it’s lacking a lot of super stand out tracks in my opinion. I feel like you could throw this entire album on at a club as a playlist and it would work perfectly but a lot of the songs blend together and there weren’t too many super unique or dynamic sounding moments in my opinion but I did still really enjoy basically every single song on here except one and I think this was a pretty good ... read more
This is my first time listening to fcukers and I thought this was a really fun dance and club EP. Some fun tracks, a couple I really enjoyed and thought were incredible and the rest was solid. Overall, a really solid and fun dance album tbh. Nothing too much more to say besides I thought this was a really damn good EP.
