Seriously this album feels like Eminem having a debate with himself about what he deems as real hip hop and attempting to deflect criticism by insulting people, both critics, other artists and his own fans who had problems with his last release. But when you strip all of that bullshit away you're left with is one of the best produced Eminem album, with solid lyricism, great guest performances, quite a lot of filler which is a tough thing to say about an Eminem album nowadays ( Except for the ... read more
Revival is Eminem’s worst album in my opinion, truly corny and one of the worst attempts at a comeback from a bad album. Like we get it Eminem you’re angry people rightfully hated your trash album, anyways.
Yeah this album booty but honestly got a few top tier tracks. Framed is a lot of fun and should’ve been what the whole album sounded like. I think the last 3 tracks are all actually top tier Eminem tracks, and I actually like the intro “walk on water”. Those 5 ... read more
Straight away, you can tell that this ain't going to be a super serious, moody album. Having that Kanye charm sprinkled in with that 'chipmunk' sampling throughout. But the fact that it's damn near perfect just goes to show what an amazing artist Kanye is. Even if it is a cliché to say it, Kanye is one of my favorite artists of all time. ... read more
Late Registration is in my opinion the weakest of Kanye’s original 3 studio albums. It doesn’t have the experimentation of The College Dropout with the creation of Chipmunk Soul, or the futuristic and developing sound of Graduation. Late Registration still retains the idea of soul samples from Kanye but it feels much more of a warmer darker tone as TCD had more of a bright production style. The album starts off with a skit following the previous narrative of TCD of school. I feel ... read more
