I LOVE GOMPER AND IM NOT ASHMED. This is such a fantastic (almost perfect) showcase of psychedelic music. It is nothing like Sgt Pepper, Their Majesties boarders absurdism and explores deep psychedelia the Beatles wouldn’t touch.

If I could only hear one song for the rest of my life, it would be Desolation Row. If Desolation Row was the only song BD ever made, he would still be the greatest to ever do it. The worst part of my day is when desolation row ends..cxΩß∂
So underrated. Easily the Doors best. The spy is the only track that has not been addicting to me at one point
all this time ive thought blonde on blonde was his best but yesterday i realized it is blood on the tracks man. its perfect. i have fixated on probably 10 of the 10 tracks for a week at different times. its so raw, its so emotional. i love
It has such high highs but gets a bit boring after hundreds of listens lmao
each listen it gets better. It's hard even explain what it is about this album that gets me. The weepiness of the guitars, the pure emotion in vocals, the way the bass softly guides the tracks in the background. Every listen I am always finding something to hang on to.
some people may not understand but this is probably one of the best album of the 90s
so it takes a few listens to understand. but this truly is one of the greatest albums ever. there is not a single miss and the theme of the album is so consistent. you have to give it time but eventually it hits.
