I like a lot of them but I feel like they could be a little more interesting

overall, good album! I didn’t like the opener much, but tracks 2-9 are bangers. after that the album kinda lost me a bit, but the closer is a really good song.

LOVE the guitar parts and instrumentation on the standout tracks. vocals are okay.

considering that most of the bands I listen to were either influenced by, or their influences were influenced by, the velvet underground, I heard what I expected to for this record. I totally see why it’s one of the greatest albums of all time, but it didn’t really click with me individually past the fact that that it’s the reason most of my favorite artists can exist.
