This album is pretty good, but what makes it a 76 is Anthony Po, he is an incredible creator who pushes an amazing message, and this project is proof of it, Anthony pushes creativity and to just live in the moment, he is the only guy I know who could create a KPOP album one week and go on a ghost hunting adventure dressed as Scooby doo in a mystery machine another, would highly recommend his content.
I listened to this song on repeat for an hour and I feel like summoning an eldritch deity to start an Armageddon just so no one else has to listen to this ever again
I started this album bored, but them was dragged back into the album at the end, imo the first couple songs are kinda ass but then there is a streak of amazing songs capped off with one of my favourite MF DOOM tracks of all time, for his last album it's not the best, but it lets his legacy live on.
Personally I would probably rate this album as high as I have overall if it was not for the fact I feel like this album displays who MF DOOM is perfect, amazing beats, amazing flow, experimental, filler, it's just the perfect mix of everything MF DOOM which is best displayed in I Wonder, my favourite track on this album, if I had to recommend someone an MF DOOM album it'd be this one.
I'd be lying if i said this wasn't one of the best rap albums of all time, seriously, and I'd be lying if i said i had no bias, but MF DOOMs lyricism and flow is just dialed to the max for this album, there is a reasom this is a must hear album, it is truly a Magnum Opus.
I like this album, but all the songs feel the same, I feel there is no distinguishing features between any of the songs other than lyrics, but I had a good time listening to them, so yeah.
Overall I found this EP to be a short but enjoyable experience, with a vast difference with each song except Hymn of Tabal and Blood Gun. Idolafluencer is a great upbeat track with a groovy background, and even though Hymn of Tabal and Blood Gun sound similar, it doesn't mean it's bad, and The Whole Armour is a great Ghibli-esc track which ends up being a good send off to the EP.
