This album is wacky and wild all throughout in a way I feel is executed really beautifully! I thoroughly enjoyed this album throughout and it really allows the concept and to shine with its confusing nature allowing everyone to have their own image of the album. I've never been into theatre or theatre music, but this album is constructed in a way anyone could enjoy it! (except for brad taste fuck you). The only thing keeping me from giving this an 100 is that Introduction to the Snow is ... read more
This is a great final album from Donald Glover, it really shows the musical talent he has atop all his other plentiful talents. The soulful music of the album just makes me excited for the film to come out. All the features on the album are all great and a nice change of pace, my only gripe with the album is it can feel like it runs for too long at times but the mix of genres on this album really helps with that issue. I hope that Donald Glover continues to release music under his own name ... read more
Such a Eurodance banger and I strive to be as groovy as Captain Jack one day, I honestly don't know what else to say other than listen to this song!!!
The death of Slim and Eminem while Marshall's at it. This album was just a bore at best, and I think boring is the worst thing music can be before becoming flat out abhorrent, and this album sure is boring. Throughout the album, most songs fall flat with lyrics that begin to feel like he's rapping about the same things every song "Gen Z would cancel Slim if he released today" "I hate blind/disabled/some other type of minority" and more shit. Only being saved with ... read more
This entire show is just an anomaly, one of the most captivating art styles I've seen out of any show I've ever watched, then the most fucking whackjob plot and characters and then a soundtrack that DID NOT need to go this hard, but I'm glad it does! its really groovy and techno with other genres in-between (like D-City Rock) and after watching the show I'm definitely going to add several of these bangers to my playlist!
I sure did listen to this album! In all serious this album is really inventive and unique and I enjoy it for that but I find it to be wildly inconsistent personally, with some absolutely amazing songs like stupid horse and ringtone but then I Need Help Immediately plays and I'm like what the fuck is this, but this album does make me excited to listen to more 100 gecs in the future!
I have literally all these songs on my playlist, I'm sure there's some deeper meaning to this album about relationships that I wouldn't really get because I haven't been in a serious one but idk because this album is a BOP through the groovy beats and the grainy buttery smooth vocals lead to me absolutely loving this album!
Every song on this album is amazing, absolutely great; but that's the problem. In the middle of the album there's 4 songs that span 6 minutes of just clips and it really takes you out of the album in my opinion, it would have been way more bearable if spaced out like on Take Me To Your Leader. Apart from that major gripe this album is absolutely spectacular and really shows DOOMs prowess with music and I would recommend this album! (And I would also recommend skipping the middle)
I am biased bc I like love MF DOOM and this does NOT disappoint! The whole album is mainly focused on the actual rap and production by MF DOOM which really allows him to shine through his lyricism and flow. With a more music focused album it does leave me wanting the usual story and samples of shows DOOM usually has but they whole album is great!
Viktor fumbled the bag so much in Can I Watch?
I really like this album, I thoroughly enjoy all the tracks as well as the story that this album portrays. The track "Flowerbounce" really conveys nostalgia for me personally and all the tracks were really unique. My fav track probably ISS.
This is a great soundtrack for a great game, its fast paced, all the songs have different tones but begin to mesh together the more you listen. Even though the songs mesh together it's still a great listening experience, not bad for a dead guy.
I am in LOVE with this album, all the songs are varied and interesting and the overarching religious symbolism and cult mannerisms of GAIA had me enthralled throughout the album, love me some strxwberrymilk!
This soundtrack is just perfect, all the songs slap, they all fit perfectly into the game, and just cement this game as one of the best in of all time, I don't think any soundtrack or album could top this for me.
This was my first DOOM album, and it holds up. Honestly this album is great, unique sounds, unique raps, overall a amazing album, except for Vats of Urine, only thing keeping this from a 100.
This is an amazing soundtrack, for a game that goes above and beyond for being a tech demo, would recommend the game and the soundtrack!
I love this album, the atmosphere it creates is on point, its eerie and Christobal's sound is unmatched. In my opinion the second seasons soundtrack is vastly superior, but that doesn't take away from this seasons soundtrack, it's still has the most iconic song in all of Utopia, overall its sooo good so ye.
This soundtrack is absolutely stunning, its experimental but grounded, coherent but crazy and it's just masterfully crafted. This soundtrack has the best atmosphere of anything I've ever heard, I normally don't have any emotional reactions to any media but this soundtrack had me literally shivering while listening, you have to listen to it.
All the songs on this single don't miss. hit the snooze is a chill track with some metal elements expanded upon I'M LOST and then ending in what used to be my favourite song ever, ride the wave, which I can still see why it used to take the spot, and it still hits very hard. I would personally recommend listening to this single as it's pretty short and just slaps so ye.
