Gangsta Lean is probably the most underrated Clipse song. The production on here is insane, almost always in a good way. There are some weaker tracks on this, and the highs aren't high enough to warrant any higher rating. That being said, clipse came out the gates with elite talent.
This is fun enough but very few of these are highlights for me. This is a little all over the place. Rocket Love is definitely my favorite here.
So many of these songs have each individually been my favorite off the album at one point over the years, since I first listened to it. It's definitely not my favorite album of all time but it deserves immense amounts of praise. This is also Stevie's best by a very solid margin. Probably around 7 or 8 of his 10 best songs come from here.
Extremely consistent with every song being really solid but for me it seems like Stevie doesn't have that many songs that I love. It's pretty hard for me to point out anything wrong with this, but it's just not the most enjoyable thing I've ever listened to. That being said this is still great and Stevie's best so far and probably best outside of Songs in the Key of Life if I had to guess based on what I've already heard from the releases after Innervisions.
