this was very superfluous, the songs are fine, but it adds more to an already dense album. i’m always down for more music, but he and his team should have allowed the og album more time to breathe.
there are some real highlights on this one, but i think it’s just too long. i adore noah’s music but this kind of sounds like musical soup at a certain point. his lyricism is as always top notch and the instrumentals are great, but as i said, it drags at points. stick season (the original version) was a clean and polished (as much as folk rock can be) album, and i think this one suffers because of the length. that’s not to mention the deluxe he released hours later

he's back
after the my relative disappointment with "Harry's House" compared to his first two incredible albums, this was a nice, fun dance pop album that made my heart happy. between this and "DON'T TAP THE GLASS" recession dance pop is so back.
