The guitar riff at around 18:17 of The Meteorologist might genuinely be one of my favorite moments in all of music.
Some great cloud rap, Lightsaber // Savior and Gatorade are mindblowing songs and overall the entire album is a really strong cloud rap album. I do think that the mixing can be a bit iffy at time and sometimes Yung Lean's delivery will rub me the wrong way but otherwise this is an amazing cloud rap project.
Some hits, a lot of misses, and overall a show of the amazing potential that he realizes in the future (/s). Yeah, this isn't good, the good songs are only good because they either 1. Do something interesting production-wise 2. They have an interesting idea that Quadeca would capitalize much stronger on any other project
This isn't as good as I wanted it to be. I recently listened to TURNINUP and I absolutely loved it so I decided to check out the full project and though there's a lot of bangers, there's also a lot of duds. I'm not gonna revisit this full project that often but I will go back to these songs a lot.

In between this and BlackBolshevik, Ghais Guevara might be my favorite "up-and-coming" artist right now. This album is amazingly consistent with songs that go absolutely crazy and songs that are more low-key. His production (very Peggy influence) is immaculate using chipmunk soul samples, random video games/pop culture stuff and making it all feel very all over the place yet coordinated.
