this mixtape is full of play-really-fucking-loud-in-the-car bangers and i absolutely LOVE ITTTT
this and melt my eyez are the only full projects i have heard from denzel, and in comparison this is more upbeat, catchy, and mostly hype compared to the introspection, live instrumentation and general slower tone in melt my eyez
both are great in their own right but I feel as if I prefer this album as a whole due to the pure energy it gives ne during its entire 30 minute run, the track transitions ... read more
doing a drake discog dive as a drake hater (1 out of i dont even know like 15?)
ive never listened to any of his albums before, and i wanna see if im wrong or right in my hating
tl;dr i was right, this mixtape is so dragged out and boring
thoughts:

successful has an actually catchy chorus and ... read more
good, nothing too memorable. i think there's interesting stuff here but nothing is really sticking out. though midnight is a really good song, im not a fan of yachty's voice in the majority of this
(first listen)
An hour and seventeen minutes of some of the best production, melodies, flows, lyrics I've ever heard from a Hip-Hop/RnB album. I don't know if there's anything this album does that's unique but all I know is that its extreeeeemely solid.
I've listened to this thing like 4 times now.
this really doesnt feel like it would work as anything else as a vocaloid album, all the melodies are just suited for it and it absolutely works wonders for this album's amazing production.
the lyrics are great, they add another emotional layer to these songs, unfortunately not done justice by the translations ive seen.
all around full of bangers that will make you want to cry while dancing your ass off, or just cry, or just dance your ass off. one of three.
for my first TOP album this was a pretty good one from them.
the only one that really stood out in a negative way was lavish. i think the whole album was pretty decent, some tracks sounded mid but had nice choruses, some vice versa.
