My first TOP song and it serves as a really great first impression. Excited for this album!
My second exposure to Little Simz after "Sometimes I Might Be Introvert."
HOLY FUCK THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING
Decided to listen from a friend's recommendation and I gotta say this is a really solid project here. A few of the songs sound a bit uninteresting, same-y, and forgettable, but that's about my only major qualm with this album. Even through some of the songs I wasn't particularly a fan of, one thing that permeates throughout the whole project and what I find to be the best aspect of this album is how you can definitely feel the energy that the band had while making this album, some of the tracks ... read more
I really can't say anything bad about this album.
FAVORITE TRACKS:
Woman
Two Worlds Apart
I Love You, I Hate You
Point And Kill
How Did You Get Here
Miss Understood
etc. etc....
Not as hitting on every track as IDMTHY, but definitely more varied. And while there are some attempts that don't fully work out, it mostly does, and the project still flows together really nicely.
FAVORITES:
DUSTCUTTER, A LA CARTE, PRETTY PRIVILEGE, WAY TOO MANY FRIENDS, TEXAS BLUE
LEAST FAVORITE:
I MAKE IT LOOK EFFORTLESS

QUAD DID.
I don't know what to say. (I do)
This album paints such a vivid image in my head with each of its tracks, so compelling, so mystical, so haunting, so beautiful. This album is mind-blowing from start to finish.
My favorite song by far is house settling. It's the most intense, the best written song on the album. Quadeca's first verse and Danny's feature evoked such potent emotions within me, it was otherworldly, ESPECIALLY DANNY'S VERSE. WHEN HE CAME IN THE SONG. THE WHOLE TIME, I WAS IN AWE. ... read more
One of my first rock albums/EPs/projects.
This one's really good. There's a raw and emotional energy here bleeding out through each track, and its really evident in the first two tracks of the project, which, coincidentally, are also my favorites.
My least favorite track is the closer, just doesn't really hit as much as the rest.
Shit's fire, with Kanye in charge of the production you really can't go wrong, especially in this era. Lot of chill songs on here, great vibes.
Some highlights for me are the intro track, Go!, They Say, and the last track. The rest of the songs here are really good. Chi-City is my least favorite, I think it's just kind of the weakest sonically and I dont find it particularly memorable.
Holy fuck this album is amazing. Cudi and Kanye are on point with this album. Cudi's singing is amazing and Kanye's verses especially on the title track and Cudi Montage leave my mind blown. The sound is so abrasive sometimes on tracks like 4th Dimension and Freee, with Reborn being on the other side of the spectrum as a healing and therapeutical song. Reborn is one of my favorite songs *ever*.
The whole album is just otherworldly and I can't express into words what kind of environment it puts ... read more
Short, yet great record. One of my favorites from Kanye. It really goes personal in here and there is not a single bad track on this, which makes sense. It's only 7 tracks, after all.
Okay, wow. Kanye delivered on this album. Really well.
I used to not like this album, I thought all the songs were boring, terrible and I'd be lying if I said I didn't see how I thought it was like that because this album is a mess. I love it, though. It's a fun journey from track to track all through out, though there are two exceptions.
This album would have been way better if Facts and Fade were cut out. Honestly, I'd be fine with Facts being the only one cut out because it's easily the ... read more
Some samples are a bit too high or low pitched and don't mesh that well which hurt the experience sometimes but overall it's good
The project after 808s is also another mixed bag, though with higher highs and lower lows.
This album starts off great with Dark Fantasy, setting the stage for the album with a high bar, with the track immediately following it just disregarding it completely, with some of the most boring production of Kanye's career.
Gorgeous has some great verses though.
AOTL has a pointless interlude that leads into a mediocre song that was clearly built for the radio with its mediocre verses and the overly ... read more
This is what used to be my favorite out of the trilogy. After revisiting I'm noticing how little the sound of this album appeals to me, and there are actual stinkers on this thing like Barry Bonds and DaHG. The middle of this album is its lowest point, its a gathering of a lot of mediocre, and sometimes just absolutely horrid tracks. A shame I don't like this as much as I did.
Also the "Deluxe" adds a whole lot to this album. Good Night should be the closer to this album, though it ... read more
It's a great album, even while not reaching the highs that TCD does. It makes up for it with its consistently cleaner production, and with great tracks such as the Sierra Leone remix, and Celebration. There are still some tracks that I think are just a bit weak compared to the others. Great Job Kanye.
