Some high highs and low lows, but the highs overpower the lows remarkably well, and much more fun then rodeo
People saying this is Rocky’s yeezus, doesn’t make too much sense as for a experimental album it’s not too experimental, but it’s also very unbalanced, other than a few tracks, it is heavily second half heavy. But it’s definitely underrated on this website
This album is an amazing storytelling narrative about j.coles friend James and things that happened to his youthful days, and is a great first impression of j.cole for me
Some absolute bangers here
Fav songs: love, fear, xxx, lust and duckworth
Least favorite songs: yah
Not as many bangers as gkmc or tpab or even gnx, or any of his previous work, but the songs are very enjoyable and surprisingly replayable , as I didn’t think it would be first listen
Decent beats, not sure what people are hating about them, their just a lil simplistic at times
This album has more lowkey vibes which was exactly what I was begging to hear from other projects, and this album starts a little slow, but the second half is near perfect
Really good flows and some amazing beats behind this album, whole thing feels great to listen to.
This album feels very refreshing as a first listen, feeling it a classic already, and I for some reason think this is his best project ever as tpab is boring for me, with a few banger songs, but this album feels much more alive, and the beats and lyrics feel so fluid and amazing to listen to
Yo clipse pulled a random single up there butt with the craziest sounding rhyme scheme that’s ever graced my ears, 😠this sounds so good production wise too
Although I almost forgot to listen to the album, it was a blast to listen to, and I don’t understand why it’s getting hate. Tame impala is always making strange and innovative new sounds and the second it doesn’t sound like currents or the slow rush people get angry.
This album is lots of fun and I enjoyed every second of it
sadly since it’s not including what the basically deluxe version has, it is not as good as the newer one but still a great album
really great vibe for fall for some reason, but I can hear some influences from here that end up on chromakopia
This album is full of jokes, crazy and wild beats, and about anything you wouldn’t expect from a normal trap artist, but I love the vibe a lot. The whole album is full of surprises and makes really creative choices in the right direction. Great album
This album feels like a deluxe of Clancy while beating Clancy at its own game. Almost every song can go on Clancy and become a standout of the album as this album upgrades every instrumental point of all songs. The songs feel more crisp and emotional and have more personality behind them. Great ending album for the lore too
Every song goes well with each other and their flow is perfect on every song
Some of the best instrumental sounds with lyrics that match the different songs really well
