Debut? DEBUT?? They are so dynamic while still holding on to the distinct Indie pop/rock sound. I'm so excited to see what they make in the future as they experiment and develop as artists.
God I love when beautiful girls are in cool as fuck bands that make insanely good music. Breathtaking vocals and emotion stirring rock instrumentals, they have my ATTENTION. Need a full length album ASAP.
This album was my gay awakening in high school, thank you lesbian Jesus.
Ok, they’re growing on me. Title is iconic, bsides are solid! My only major complaint is that some of the bsides felt like they were a little non-cohesive due to the amount of different things they played around with on a single track. Still a banger EP though!
I really don’t think this EP is as boring as everyone seems to have decided. Not every kpop release needs to be groundbreaking or experimental to garner attention. ifeye have solidified themselves as a girl group to watch because they aren’t afraid to try different sounds. Maybe not always NEW, but different for THEM! The bsides and title are very solid, and it a smooth listen throughout. Great for spring too!
While Yves is a Korean idol, she is so much more than kpop. Each solo release solidifies her distinctive style and sound. She has absolutely found herself, and it hits every damn time. Her airy vocals over strings and insanely catchy electronic instrumentals? Sign me up, always. Waiting for the full length album to change my life, hopefully soon!
I was in fact levitating 10 seconds into track one. Thank you for keeping synths alive TXT.
Solid af, for sure need to shake ass to these songs in the club. Not crazy standout to me but that's not a negative comment in any way. Keep saving pop music Slayyyter. CRANK has gotten me through a lot of shit already.
I would have been willing to believe this album came from a genuine wish to make a decent statement about the state of the world today, if a little cringey, until Grudges and even Chatroom. Melanie shows her true colors of simply wanting to talk back, not speak out. Virtue signaling at its finest.
As for the lyrics, they're very one-dimensional and don't leave much to imagine. Which is saddening to me because I truly think Portals was a beautiful project exploring the concepts of ... read more
Title is a little lackluster but oh my god the B-sides are so good. Air is for sure the Itzy solo of all time so I don't mind Yuna just leaning into a style that she wants to explore regardless of what anyone else thinks !! She's also so pretty and I love her so this was an easily enjoyable listen.
Yena has her style and sound so down it's insane. She's lowkey the standard for me for cutesy kpop but in a strangely mature/experienced way. Very intentional and thought out. Love this diva.

Incredibly vibey, all the instrumentals are banger as fuck.

Aretha these men do not deserve your powerful vocals and unconditionally loyalty !!!

Oh my God. So what if we all died.
This album is lightning in a fucking bottle. Immediately soul moving from the first note. The emotion in the lyrics, the seamless and masterful mix of genre, the storytelling. Oh my GODDDD.
2026 Album a Week 3/53
Probably an incredibly damning album to absorb in my 20s, but yes it is truly perfect in its melancholy self-reflections. "But I'm so hard to handle/I'm selfish and I'm sad", "I wanna be strong, I wanna laugh along/I wanna belong to the living", "I remember that time you told me/You said, "Love is touching souls"/Surely you touched mine.'Cause part of you pours out of me/In these lines from time to time/Oh, ... read more
When she finally gets the recognition she deserves I am going to jump up and down and scream "I told you so". Devon's vocals are so crisp, clear and refreshing. Her lyrics reach into my soul, and that combined with the stunning instrumental mixes make for an absolute obsession for me. UGHHHH.
2026 Album a Week 2/53
This one goes out to my best friend Lemon! Vibey as fuck, however I still don't know if Geminis really deserve rights...but I fuck with Steve Lacy heavy.

Hmmm I'm sad to say I did not enjoy this album as much as I though I would. Midnight Sun is such an instant hit and I truly adore it. But the rest of the album felt very formulaic and cliche. Also the amount of cheating core lyrics was kind of insane. Sorry diva, not for me. I fucked with Blue Moon, The Ambition, and Saturn's Return though!
