I remember listening to this beginning of lockdown 2020.
Reconciled me with pop music in general.
At that point i kinda had forgotten that the genre could still sound grand, crispy and fun if the right amount of love, dedication and musicianship was put into it.
6 years later, Good in Bed and Boys Will Be Boys still are massive party poopers in what could've been a 9/10 album.
Don't get me wrong, i really appreciate Quadeca as a person from what I've seen of him.
But this would never get the score it does if it was from someone else.
Nothing is bad here, but nothing is/feels exceptional either.
Feels like a very biased user score basically.
Maybe I wish i could like this more, maybe I'm missing something. Musicianship is there but nothing feels unique/important enough to move me.
EDIT (already)
70 --> 80
I should never rate a Tyler album after first listen.
After 2 or 3 tracks i was like "meh"
Halfway through i was like "alright not too bad actually"
At the end of Romeo, I was sad the mixtape was finished.
