Violet Grohl - Be Sweet To Me

Very impressive debut record. Some absolutely awesome songs with a variety of sounds throughout. Only problem is the songs individually are kinda keeping the same rhythm and not adding those extra twists to it (minus the last song). Easily out performed her dad and his band's new album by far. Really good vocals by Violet and shout out to the drummer(s) here too.

THUM, 595 and Bug In The Cake are absolute bangers to starts, it cools off for the next bit, but Often Others onwards is really ... read more

Bro, why are people hyped for a song that sounds like every other average Metalcore band? The lyrics are incredibly bland and simple. The Breakdown feels like it's copy/pasted from a dozen other bands. Don't listen to this band much but the couple songs I've heard from them were pretty good so this leaves me dissapointed

Hayley Williams - Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party

Really impressed with what Hayley did here. However, the poppy autotuned and 20 songs do hold this back a little but those are my only two critiques. Ice In My OJ is a great alt pop opener and love Hayley screaming in the chorus. Despite the heavy autotuned in Glum's verses, I really enjoy the chorus. Kill Me has some great lyrics about the expectations of being the eldest daughter, which I can't relate to as a boy, but it still hits me. Mirtazapine is a such a great re-call to 90s ... read more

Damn good follow up to Eternal Blue. Fata Morgana is such a sick Metalcore opener. Black Rainbow is insanely heavy and fun. Perfect Soul slows it down perfectly vocally and Courtney sounds brilliant when going Melodic. Keep Sweet is also pretty solid but the autotune is a little annoying. Soft Spine is Grammy Nominated for a reason and Courtney's screams are top notch. A Haven With Two Faces is a perfect representation of what Metalcore should be. No Loss, No Love is heavy but forgettable ... read more

Green Day - Warning:

Minus the singles (Warning, Waiting and Minority) and a couple deep cuts (Church on Sunday, Castaway and Deadbeat Holiday), the album is mid and forgettable, but not bad. Folk Punk doesn't really suit these guys. Green Bay just has better albums.
