While I wouldn’t call Green Day any good at experimenting, and this album feels like they heard six random songs, and decided to make an album out of just that, I can’t help liking most of the tracks on this album. Taking Nimrod’s sound but adding a more poppy and folky touch to it, the listening experience is still a bit disjointed, but there’s still a lot of great material to be found.
Favourites: Macy’s Day Parade, Castaway, Blood, Sex and Booze

I really wanted to connect with “Warning”, but I guess I just didn’t find myself vibing with a majority of the record. Nonetheless, I love a little experiment here and there, so the record is at least a lot more interesting that anything else. Important to the catalogue? I wouldn’t say so. A good time? Of course.

Color: Yellow
FAV TRACKS: Church on Sunday, Fashion Victim, Warning, Misery
LEAST FAV: Blood Sex and Booze, Hold On, Macy’s Day Parade
honestly, probably my favorite Green Day album

it’s just fun, y’know?
It's not a classic punk rock roller derby, but that doesn't mean that Green Day have slowed down on the gas. One of the more experimental releases from Green Day, switching up genres nearly every song, in a way that flows greatly. An underrated gem.

Favorite Jams: Misery, Minority, Waiting

Lest Favorite: Hold On
