While I wouldn’t call Green Day any good at experimenting, and this album feels like they heard six random songs, and decided to make an album out of just that, I can’t help liking most of the tracks on this album. Taking Nimrod’s sound but adding a more poppy and folky touch to it, the listening experience is still a bit disjointed, but there’s still a lot of great material to be found.
