I was super skeptical about the hype, seeing as while I liked Freddie and The Alchemist, I always seemed to find that people would hype them up more than I agreed with. I don't like his flows at times, and sometimes Alc's production can become repetitive. This is changing everything I've thought about the two of them and is absolutely incredible. Love it, love it, LOVE IT
Before you say "doing give it a low score just because you don't get it" because I do get it. Thing is, it's not great
Might do a full review on a relisten, but believe the hype. This is beautiful
In my eyes, xav's best effort so far (that I've heard, which isn't much). I've started a few of his other projects but didn't get through them bc I wasn't into it, but this is just lovely
EDIT: 82->67
I found this to be a good album, but it felt lacking in a lot of depth in my eyes. Some bangers, some not so bangers, but I could see this score increasing in the future
It's gotta be a 100. It's the greatest song ever released. I love Cowboy Sextape
Those last 4 songs are special but the rest ranges from boring to downright not good. This is, in my eyes, Tyler's worst effort to date, and I understand that this isn't as serious of a record as his other albums. But I don't care, it isn't as good, point blank period
It's not bad, just does not do as much for me as Revengeseekerz does. I can appreciate a lot of this, but some songs are just not great, and overall this project is just good
just barely below Sayso Says in my eyes, but still really really good
EDIT: 79->87. This shit is wonderful
EDIT: 87->89 PEAK
Literally was gonna give this like an 82 until 15 min of silence followed by a horny poem hit
There's some incredible stuff here. I got a bit bored at times but that's probably my Gen Z attention span kicking in
Honestly, when it comes to be iconic in hip hop, this song is top 5. So many amazing lines, great production, and what a hype up song.
But I'm from Jersey don't blow us up please Mr. Keef
Why am I just now getting into this song after spending a year in Philly? This is incredible
