Strong last leg but in general just more of and a lot of the same thing over and over again.
Something about the production here made everything around me feel slow and gentle. Very pleasant surprise find.
I came out as bi to my mother after listening to exhaust, thank you for airmailing me the strength
Been a while since I've listened to Mark's music. Thank you for updating us on what's been going on and been on your mind Mark! :)
"EUSEXUA" lures in with its strong teasers and some amazing individual tracks. "Girl Feels Good" is probably one of my favorites here with its almost Trip Hop-ish grooves and synths that sound like something you'd hear on Massive Attack's "Mezzanine".
While twigs manages to pretty consistently weave in themes of sexual liberation and drunken passion, sadly some of the deep cuts on here fail to really convince me which results in the album as a whole ... read more
A classic toe record. Not necessarily more or less but I find comfort in that.
Genuinely haunting and definitely hard to grasp but
E L U C I D is totally in his element here making "REVELATOR" a worthy, engrossing listen.
Could you have written a more recycled, bland and annoying Mainstream Pop ballad?
Not wanting to disacknowledge some of the highly conceptual and lyric-focused tracks on "GNX", this album feels like Kenny's "King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2". An homage to the sound and culture that inspired Kendrick as an artist and person - in his case, West Coast Hip Hop.

Very redundant, radio-rock Metalcore.
I feel like Poppy has lost a huge part of what made her music appealing to me - character. This is mostly soulless predictable Alt-Metal that lacks any interesting narratives or musical experiments that made Poppy's earlier records so intruiging and unique.
I do enjoy some vocal performances here and there but they barely last throughout an entire song and are often the verses that are followed by seemingly the exact same chorus 13 times over and ... read more
This somehow felt even more pointless than "MIXTAPE PLUTO", by a margin.
Bit overcooked, in my opinion. Nevertheless, I keep returning to it for Parannoul's signature nostalgic, abrasively melancholic sound which is still potent and enjoyable.
Calmer instrumentally but just as moving narratively and when it comes to songwriting. Great follow-up to her last solo full-length LP "Song For Our Daughter" and just a really solid Singer-Songwriter record.
There's just a certain intimacy to these records that makes me feel both moved, comforted and at peace similar to being held and protected by a loved one which is what I imagine was at least one of the goals she was trying to achieve.
