raye is an incredibly talented vocalist, and some of these tracks were gems that i know i will enjoy more on future listens; however, i really was not into the talking/monologues throughout the entirety of the album. it was detrimental to most tracks in my opinion, and it pulled me out of the story rather than continuing to engross me within it. im so mad the album isn't just full of songs like "skin & bones," "joy," and "click clack symphony."
