Linkin Park - From Zero

Pretty good ne album from the legendary Linkin Park. One thing I really appreciate is that it does feel like a homage to all the Linkin Park discography. There's Nu-Metal, some of it goes hard, some feels slower and light, and it all shows Emily's range, who was really great throughout the album. She was a fantastic choice for a new vocalist. There were no bad songs, but some of them feel a little alright, they always hit hard when needed, while overall feeling a little safe? Still ... read more

Wayne has an amazing voice to put it lightly. Amazing blend of metal and electro, industrial feel. This offers such a unique sound I haven't found from anywhere but this album. The electronic elements that just stands out from anything I've heard before. What a closer to an album like this too man.

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT

This album is a full on experience man. very emotional, personal album felt through every song. Weird but cool mix of ambient, electro-pop feel that mixes in so much more throughout the album that keeps each song fresh and unique and makes me want to go back and put them all on repeat. Love this project!

Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: NeX GEn

OH MY FUCKING GOD, YES!!! YESSSS!!!!!!!
This album was just amazing beyond belief. A complete mindfuck start to finish. So much creativity and blends of styles jampacked into a glorious 55 minutes adventure. emo asf, hyperpop, metalcore, industrial, so many seemingly clashing styles in an album, yet it all feels cohesive. Each song feels like it belongs, and somehow isn't out of place, and sick ass transitions that flow so well. I was in shock with each track, completely blown away with how ... read more

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade

Just wow. Powerful story which is demonstrated through the amazing lyricism, and the beautiful voice of Gerard Way. Every song blew me away, all the breakdowns and the solos hyped me up and every track gave me whiplash with how unique they were. There was amazing pop punk hardcore energy, and moments where it takes it slow and gets emotional, and in songs like Welcome To The Black Parade where they combine that energy into one song, it's done amazingly. Blown away from this absolute masterpiece ... read more

My Chemical Romance - Life on the Murder Scene

Most songs work well live, and I think Gerard has beautiful live voice as well! Banger lineup for the album, Desert Song was hella good and the demos were appreciated

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
96

What a breathtaking album man. Every song offers its own feel, makes it sound like an absolute journey, with no drops in quality. One thing their debut tried to do but failed in is this sense of a full story, like the beginning, middle, and end of a book. This manages to capture that feel so well. Everything else is so much cleaner, Gerard's voice is like heaven man I swear. There was genuinely no downtime and each song flowed through each other so well, Three cheers is a grand fucking slam of ... read more

My Chemical Romance - I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love

This album was very raw, and had a messy made in the garage type of sound, but I really love it. The riffs and drum work were really good, the album always keeps you engaged as it can go from one sound to another, albeit not all that cleanly. Gerard's vocals definitely needed redefining, but he was able to sound good throughout still, I was surprised to hear him hit some of these screams. This very much sounds like the beginning of a band, people trying to find their way and make their own ... read more

Slipknot - The End, So Far

It feels like they tried to push the ambient feel of the last album further, but most songs don't flow well, go into each other as smoothly, and overall feels all over the place. Production is also a bit lacking throughout the entire album. Even with all that, this is still a good album that pulls of that abstract otherworldly feel decently at times. I love that we get to hear more from Sid and the backup, they just never really felt present since self-titled. It's 100% appreciated that t the ... read more

Slipknot - We Are Not Your Kind

This is an absolute experience, and NOT one I would expect from Slipknot. This is the most straight up horror feel I've gotten from the band by just the music alone. Some of the best transitions and preludes, which there haven't been as much of since Vol. 3. Great balance of melodic and hard asf as usual, but it's done really well, especially with how they balance the additional atmospheric feel throughout the album. LOVED this album!

Slipknot - .5: The Gray Chapter

Compared to what most seem to believe, I LOVE this and felt they really bounced back from AHIG. The loss of Paul and Joey (RIP GOATS) is 100% felt, but they manage to create really great sounds with the new members. Bountiful lyrics that really hit hard, especially with the death of Paul, reflect the emotions of loss and looking back on yourself really fucking well. Not as hard as Vol 3, let alone Iowa, but Slipknot doesn't need that (not that they can't still go hard asf). Overall a really ... read more

Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone

4th overall album, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed. A lot of the original edge and energy is gone, and it feels a little bland throughout some songs, probably due to how there wasn't any real struggle or hardships during the creation of this album, which isn't really the best for this band. Despite all the shortcomings, this album is by no means bad. Kick ass riffs and guitar soloes, more of Corey Taylor's beautiful singing, and classics like Psychosocial and Snuff, ... read more

Slipknot - Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)

Good LORD does this album slap! Vol. 3 to me, has the most variation between each track. Whether it's emotional, incredibly heavy, fast-paced and crazy, or jumping all over the fucking place, it all still manages to flow well between each song. Corey Taylor's voice really shines here with all the different ways he sings throughout. Truly love this album!

Slipknot - Iowa

Holy fuck, does this def deserved the label of masterpiece like so many people give. What feels like a direct continuation and improvement on their first album, with heavier tracks, but also more variation in the sound, (I mean, just LISTEN to gently or the self-titled song!!). Awesome screams, some nice hard asf growls, and moments with surprisingly beautiful vocals, showcasing how amazing of a vocalist Corey Taylor is. LOVED this!!!!

Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR

Having gone through so many genres by now, Bring Me The Horizon really culminate here, and them some. Heavy ass songs like Dear Diary, those Linkin Park vibes from 1x1, the absolute INSANITY that is kingslayer. And somehow managing to do something completely new for Bring Me (again), they end on a beautiful ballad-esque song. Wonderful, wonderful album, loved every second and will for a long time!

Slipknot - Slipknot

Hard asf album, def feels like early Slipknot but still sounds really good. Turntable effects, insane ass drums (thx Joey!), really angry and some of the most cathartic sounds from Slipknot. Overall unique sound from song to song, Slipknot's self-titled is awesome as hell.
