When tracklists are consisting of live recorded performances, expect a better sound quality to make wonders of your mind.
A random AOTY user recommended me this one. I WAS SO SHOCKED.. I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING (!!)
This album is too whimsical to be called 'Pet Sounds'. Seriously though, why did they name it like that?
I can imagine myself drinking a cup of coffee with this album as my background. So groovy.
One of the most enchanting album I've ever encountered. If you want to imagine or feel what an enchantment does to your innermost character, this is for you.
Perhaps, the problem is on me but I cannot help myself to relatively dislike how this album was arranged. Everything about it feels excessive at some point. The form is in there, however, it wasn't as riveting as what I was expected.
I want to like this. If only this was catered to me
A pretty good comeback. The songs included in here are much better and cleaner as compared to their debut EP.
I love NMIXX for all my life since debut but I haven't thought of them having album being so generic sounding as being so obsessed with their last 'EP', Fe3o4: FORWARD. Phoenix, SPINNIN' ON IT, and Reality Hurts are the only ones that sounds genuinely true to their concept and production-wise, catchy and interesting.
'Blue Valentine' is their weakest title track. I'd rather listen to Party O' Clock than this pop-rock venture and indescribable form. ... read more
I have nothing else to say, just a pure adoration of the rawness she gave to her very first album. Like gnarly, I'm jealous of her love for music. anyway, EVERYONE STREAM LIL FANTASY VOL. 1!
Seriously you guys. You have to listen to both CD 1 and CD 2. You won't regret it. The production itself is absolute and cohesive as if it was thought about 3-4 years in advance. I would love it if a critic scores this album if it wasn't that overlooked.
I remember downloading this EP after hearing them for seconds and fell in love instantly. The production is good, although I cannot say I am the greatest fan of the other songs nowadays as taste changes.
I cannot say 'Give Me That' is their best title track yet. The other songs (2nd & 3rd) are pretty good but like an explosion every after verse so that concludes it. In the 2nd song, there are melodies into which has a lot of potential, however, it abruptly finished (especially the Verse 2) so it falls flat to that "catchy" category. While the 3rd one gives a vibe that merely goes with the flow— it remains on the same cadence.
The 4th song, 'New Ride' is ... read more
Discography wise, they remain the superior of all of them in recent years in K-pop. They weren't my favorite group but still, I am eager to wait for their releases.
GWSN is one of the promising acts in their generation and this album seals it. First of all, it was sonically cohesive and stay true to their sound. Secondly, the songs were not so tacky— in a sense that everything about it was piled piece by piece.
