Light and easy to listen to. Best tracks are mostly in the beginning so the end feels a bit boring.
Favorite Tracks: Feels Like Heaven, Death Patrol, Santa's In The Closet, Dedicated to Bobby Jameson, Another Weekend, Kitchen Witch
Least Favorite Tracks: Time to Live, Dreamdate Narcissist, Do Yourself A Favor
Good storytelling.
Favorite Tracks: Mrs. Lynch..., Maryland Ass Nigga, Pizza Shop Extended, Dog Love Kitty, No Shoes on The Rug, Black Sheep White Dove
Least Favorite Tracks: Birds & The Bees
Such a dense sound. I'll admit lyrics aren't amazing but it really feels more about the sound with this album.
Favorite Tracks: Fort Knox (despite what sounds like a jackhammer in the background), Holy Mountain, Keep On Reaching, It's a Beautiful World, The Man Who Built The Moon, Dead In The Water
Least Favorite Tracks: Black and White Sunshine, End Credits
Favorite Tracks: oh baby, i used to, call the police, american dream, black screen
Least Favorite Tracks: other voices (feels like an interlude with so much talking), emotional haircut
Denzel Curry is a talented lyricist with excellent delivery. A couple of the tracks feel far too short (Hate Government, Heartless). The high pitched voice Denzel does at the end of each sentence of the chorus of Zeltron 6 Billion is a bit annoying.
Favorite Tracks: Thinking Bout You, Sierra Leonne, Sweet Life, Pyramids, Lost, Forrest Gump
Least Favorite Tracks: Pilot Jones, Monks
Kanye's rapping is just decent. But he's funny and likable with some really solid beats and samples. The skits are actually worth listening to at least for the laughs.
Favorite Tracks: All Falls Down, Spaceship, Jesus Walks, Slow Jamz, Through The Wire, The skits
Least Favorite: The New Workout Plan
Even though I prefer this slightly more aggressive style to the PopRap of Graduation, a couple mediocre or poor tracks at the end make it slightly worse (Still one of my favorite albums).
Favorite Tracks: Gorgeous, POWER, All of the Lights, So Appalled, Devil in a New Dress, Runaway
Least Favorite Tracks: Hell of a Life (esp that deep buzzing beat), Blame Game (meh)
Peak PopRap for me. Great beats, fun lyrics, and good features (except Wayne)
Favorite Tracks: Good Morn, Champion, Stronger, I Wonder, Can't Tell Me Nothing, Flashing Lights, Everything I Am
Least Favorite Tracks: Barry Bonds (Every Yeezy-Weezy collab has been weak for me)
The autotune and singing really captures the lonely and distant feel of most of the album.
Favorite Tracks: Heartless, Paranoid, Street Lights, Coldest Winter
Least Favorite Tracks: Amazing (Kanye just sounds bored), See You in My Nightmares
- Three really solid beats
- Features come thru
- Meek starts with an aggressive fast flow on $lay but slows downs on subsequent tracks. Works out well for him.
- I can see how his constant references to the Drake beef can come off as petty.
