It's okay but the hook gets a little grating by the end of the first listen. I can't imagine it'd get any better on continuous listens. Zara's verse definetly is the highlight of the song she's kinda the greatest to ever do fun silly pop.
Not particularly innovative but a very nice three track project that shows Not for Radio can still put out some amazing songs that really strike the heart. It doesn't have the highs of My Turn or Vueltas off her previous album but it feels just as gentle and healing to listen to.
Egregiously mediocre and not really what I was hoping for from NCT WISH. They have interesting and fun production in some of these songs and then the rest is just filler. I think some of these could have been better if they played more with the instrumentation. Feel The Beat is an insane standout though and easily the best off the album. Sticky sucks.
I didn't enjoy this album. It was probably the exact opposite of an easy listen. I was actually quite scared of listening to it. None of the songs will probably make it to my playlist, but it's so impressively evocative and emotional that by the end you just have to sit back and think. One of the best listening experiences from twigs and the fact the bar is even higher and that this isn't her best project is insane.
Innovative and interesting for the times (as is everything Twigs does), but not great/not my style. None of these songs stood out to me and even the best one (Ultraviolet) does not stand anywhere as highly as Twigs' other best works in a project. Almost done with her discography in its entirety and this will probably end up being the low point.
