I got a little worried during the middle of this project, because there is a small stretch of songs that are not my favorite, but the last 4 songs on this album are all standouts.
FAVORITE: Knock Yourself Out XD, Cheerleader, Mona Lisa, Is There Really No Happiness?
LEAST FAVORITE: Perfect Pinterest Garden, Year of the Cup
Now this is that good shit. I do wish the deeper cuts that I hadn’t heard before listening hit a little harder or were more interesting (After Midnight, Picture You, California), but this album could have just been Pink Pony Club 14 times and I would have been satisfied. Beautiful vocals and immense charm throughout this whole album.
FAVORITE TRACKS: Pink Pony Club, HOT TO GO!, Naked in Manhattan, Casual, Femininomenon
I really didn’t connect with this project as much as his other work. There’s good writing and good features, but it’s not as infectious or impressive as his previous work imo.
FAVORITE TRACKS: COLE PIMP, BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE
Very good production throughout, and some great tracks here and there, but the second half of the album plays it a little too safe and there aren’t many memorable moments. Shout out to Talk My Shit, though, that song can do no wrong in my eyes.
The songs I like, I really love, but the rest kinda melts together.
They don’t prepare you for the dread of giving an 100 to an album that the bald guy gave one to too. I swear I have my own opinions. 💚
Enjoyable but when I finished listening, I realized that I couldn’t remember a single song. Good but very similar throughout.
Perfect. I don’t know what else to say. If I had a time machine I’d go back to be at this concert then stop 9/11 a couple years later. Seriously tho, it doesn’t get much better than this
Hmmmmmmmmm… I don’t really know what this one is but lowkey Auntie Kim tears it up with that one song. Interesting listen for sure
Some of Danny’s most personal and emotional work. Just wish some of the choruses were less repetitive, but the verses are amazing. Great album
I physically can’t stop listening to this album. I don’t even know why, it’s not the most mind blowing album I’ve ever heard. But I transcend every time I hear these songs. Inject milk into my veins bro
