One of my friends recommended I give this a listen and so I did. I liked it, though I would hesitate to say that I appreciate it for all it is. I don’t play any instruments myself so I don’t know if I totally appreciate the drums or guitars in the same way that many do, but I can at least recognize that they were impressive. Some solid classic rock for sure.

Just for funsies I decided to take a trip down memory lane and re-evaluate what was once 12 year old me’s favorite album. This album, is not great do NOT get me wrong, Yesterday and Dancing In The Dark are abysmal, but try as I might I don’t think I can ever really hate this album. The over the top pop rock of it wears thin after a while for I just have a lot of nostalgia for this album and as such I don’t want to hate on it too much.

Note: There are a few tracks from the original tracklist that are not available on Spotify and as such I didn’t listen to them. I believe my opinion of this album remains in tact regardless and would not change if I did listen to said tracks.

I’m not familiar with black midi, although after looking at their discography I’ve put them on the list and at some point I’ll probably check out their music. In the mean time, My New Band Believe. This is an interesting experimental folk rock album that was reminiscent of Black Country, New Road, and while I thought it was good, I didn’t think there was all that much about it that really grabbed me.
