Pinned Review

Taylor Swift - folklore

This album is a complete void of emotion and music itself. It's really the only thing you can really say, cause the "music" on it is utterly boring and as generic as possible. There are absolutely no original ideas or anything that makes it "A Taylor Album". It's just an overly clean generic folk, that can work for a soundtrack for some shitty "Sad and Smart" movie for 14-year olds. I can't really even call it an album, this is just a product, a bait for emotions. ... read more

First impressions after multiple relistens and a few days after it released: Sounds like a good, but imperfect fan attempt of recreating the boc sound, not like a single you release after complete radio silence for like 13 years. But it's only a first impression, and basically every time I listened to boc records for the first time I had mixed feelings that grew into blind love, so I'll wait till the release of the album and maybe like 2-3 weeks after listening to it several times ... read more

This a very bad advert for his synthesizer

Could've sworn they broke up? Anyways, this is by far their least interest release. The "Basspunk" duology was never the strongest showing in the whole indie sleaze revival scene. It took the basic appeal and groove of crystal castles and played it in a more club oriented aesthetics. But it's not like they were the first to do it, or even the most interesting ones to do it. Snow Strippers, for example, I always found more appealing, cause even when they had a very minimal ... read more

All the people complaining about the supposed "maximalism" of this album can fuck off right into their minimalism safe space with one table and nothing else, eat a piece of white bread with no taste and go jerk off to that Terry Davis quote for the fifth time of day. This album is not perfect in any way and if anything, should be mixed differently for some tracks (Like Great Bakunawa, this track is mixed horribly) but some people here just find the stupidest reasons to try to justify ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS

Sounds like it was made with friends in like 2 hours randomly for fun. It's not bad and definitely has it's vibe, but it's nothing special to me
