Sabrina Carpenter - Man's Best Friend (2025)
Having decided to try and listen to a lot of albums this year, particularly those of artists and genres I don't typically listen to, and I have decided to move onto Sabrina Carpenter. Having mainly heard 'Expresso' (man that song is good), I knew I wanted to try out this new album.
Firstly, the lyrics are really funny. They are really horny and really sexual, but man its funny. Sabrina is able to pull this off, something myself ... read more
Biffy Clyro - Futique (2025)
Having heard very few songs from Biffy Clyro, despite my mum listening to them a lot, I really enjoyed this record. But the day after a great concert from them in Birmingham, I've decided to review an ... read more

I decided to come back to this record, mainly from having heard 'The Less I Know the Better' and 'Let It Happen', to see what I thought. Was it better than 'Deadbeat'? Were any of the other songs apart from the ones I've heard any good?
Yes and Yes.
This album is brilliant and incredibly consistent. All my grudges ... read more
Tame Impala - Deadbeat (2025)
As someone who prior to this had heard 4 Tame Impala songs ('Elephant', 'The Less I Know The Better', 'Let It Happen' and 'Borderline'), I didn't have a clear idea on what this was going to be like, and how far removed it was going to be lyrically and sound wise to these songs. And after seeing the controversy surrounding this album, I was even more intrigued and decided to weigh in as part of a challenge to listen to a ... read more
