I was ready to write this album off as a disappointment due to the lacklustre production, which was really surprising based on the west coast scene in the early 90's that was popping out of California with vibrant beats from the likes of Dr Dre and DJ Quik. a lot of the beats are wildly uninteresting and confusing at times, especially with the hardcore attitude Pusha and Malice are trying to portray through the songs. there are a lot of really annoying hooks and flows which are amplified by the poor production, so i really didn't enjoy a fair portion of it for this matter
most of it felt like listening to a 15 year old boy posting his music on tiktok
