Everything on this track works well - the ethereal sampling, the energetic and rapid fire Laroi verse, Future's excellent feature, and Babydrill's dreary slurring - it's perfect. It's a shame Laroi is so wildly inconsistent.
Despite blatantly wearing his influences on his sleeve, Cordae's third studio effort is a complete return to form that feels less like a subpar rip-off of the works that came before him and more like a heartfelt tribute to a genre that shaped who he is today.
