Upon first listen, I thought that the LPs were mislabeled and should be spun at 45RPM. In the end, this feels like a collection of ideas that didn't make it on any of the other records. The first song to really pick anything up is Aerosol Weather on side B.

This may take a couple of listens to get into. If you are new to this band, start elsewhere in the discography.

I enjoyed the album, but it only makes me want to listen to The Decemberists more, not Offa Rex.

I teared up on the first song.
