This sounds like a more refined Atom Heart Mother almost. Absolutely gorgeous prog album
If the first half was as strong as the second this could’ve been top 5 Ye. Still an amazing record with some of his best material (namely Nmpila and Saint Pablo)
I got this on Soundmap from a street drop before I listened to the album and I traded it away bc I didn’t know how good it was. I’m sad.
This is one of the greatest post rock albums ever. It reminds me of everything that I love about lysf. It discusses tragic themes in a very bittersweet way. This is a lot more experimental than I was expecting but I rly like it. My excitement for the album is still insanely high.
This is a pretty great debut. It doesn’t hit as hard as a piece of strange or Oneirology and they’ve definitely grown a bunch since it, but this is still a very quality album. The production is obviously amazing (it’s cunninlynguists) and the lyrics are great (again it’s cunninlynguists). I think the standouts are the opener, the closer, and Thugged out since Cubscouts. This is probably their most layed back and fun album and it’s an easy listen. Very easy to see ... read more
