Gonna need a few more listens for a confident rating so I’ll just keep a 90 as a placeholder
One of the most devastating concept albums ever made. The album is about toxic relationships told through a crushingly sad metaphor of a hospice nurse falling in love with their terminal patient. It’s so over the top in the best way possible. Makes for an incredibly emotional and beautiful listen. Definitely one of my favorites.
I think this is similar to the Red House Painters self titled in the sense that it’s great music that I rly enjoyed but probably won’t revisit
35 points bc it might get me dance with the devil on soundmap
Edit: RAHHHHHH IT GOT ME DANCE WITH THE DEVIL
I think it just shows how good of a song the nin version is that the greatest cover oat still doesn’t live up to it
I love this song it’s so fucking funny lmao

Please my balls can’t take this anymore๐ญ๐
Thank god all this peak didn’t drop next month bc it’s all over the walls rn
Holy shit the aotypocalypse has arrived.

So I’ve been anticipating today for a while now and it’s very safe to say that I am absolutely blown away. Not only has The New Sound absolutely floored me but this album has too. It is an absolutely haunting experience. It’s such a beautifully devastating look at the current Genocide going on in Gaza. Gybe have always been a very political band so it doesn’t really surprise me that they decided to talk about this. Gybes discography is almost like a non ... read more
