This is definitely my least favorite Big Star album. There’s maybe four nice and catchy, poppy songs on it…and then the rest of the album is just a bunch of slow asf dreary depressing dirges. Because the album wasn’t finished, it obviously doesn’t sound very good. Yeah, I just don’t really like it all that much. Definitely overrated. Give me the first two record, #1 Record and Radio City. Give me the hooks. ⭐️
Basically repellent to everything I like and want in music. I don’t really know how else to describe it.
A collection of adult Disney villain theme songs that are big on boldness but devoid of tact and subtlety.
What can I say about this beauty that hasn’t already been said? It could be argued that a big portion of the people that don’t like or straight up hate this album are just emotionally stunted people who are afraid to let themselves open up. 💚💛🤍
