[500th album!!]

Saying The Beatles is the best band is like saying butter should be on toast; it's good, but kind of a basic take.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy The Beatles' music. I liked Revolver, and I liked Abbey Road more, but the entire second half it feels like something was missing. first review since The Reset™.

Painkiller by Judas Priest did numbers back in 1990, and is still being listened to now by mostly middle-age dads. Also appearing in AOTY's top 500 albums, it is usually well-recieved because of its "pure" metal sound. What do they mean by pure metal? Stereotypical metal sound; High-pitched vocals, full of guitar solos, and the genre itself being the very first metal genre, Heavy Metal.
