I really am not a fan of Brit-Pop but if you had to listen to some, I would directly send you to this album (or something by Pulp or Stone Roses). Really covers the best 90's teen girl vibe you can get from the genre, which is usually the reason why I'd put some on if ever.

Not my favorite genre of music, but I can see what it did for it. You can tell that Funk Metal definitely was a big inspiration in the eventual evolution of Nu-Metal.

Really not for me, found the sound way too boring and safe. Seems like something soccer moms would love though.

The Doors inspired a crazy amount of talented artists with this album and it 100% makes sense why, this album really helped give Rock the crazy energy it later got to be known for, and helped to inspire other artists to focus on the chaos more than the psychedelia of music in the 60's. The Doors debut album is not directly punk in genre, but it absolutely is one of those albums that shows the start to what later would lead to punk.

Super fun album that has big pirate vibes - really ended up digging more than I thought.

Had a weird back and forth with this album where it seemed to switch between being some fun, chill Neo-Psychedelia and just being some really awful rock. Ended up really enjoying the songs I did though, so it's easy to forget about the others!

AWESOME - while the 70's had punk, the 80's seems to have pigfuck lol. I really need to check out more noise rock, especially more stuff that sounds like this album.

The U2 album of all time to me. Nothing they made ever came close to this again. Not a big fan of their other stuff, but I can reach a middle ground with my father-in-law, whose favorite band is U2, with this album.

Oof- did not like this one. Really not my style.

Wilco makes really great music that often stands head and shoulders above others from its time and genre. Being There is no exception, but may appear weaker in comparison to other future works by Wilco.

Outlaw Country has to be one of the best sub-genres of country, with Willie Nelson's Red Headed Stranger a strong example of that. Makes you feel like a proper cowboy.

Norah Jones has a beautiful voice with songs that unfortunately mostly remind me of awful early-2000's rom-coms.

K.D Lang is genuinely a very good name to know when looking into prominent lesbian musicians, someone who let her sexuality be public at a time where it resulted in protests at award shows that had her nominated. Unfortunately, I do not jam with her genre of music too much, but I do really love her voice.

Love, love, love Erykah Badu, but Mama's Gun always felt a little weak in comparison to her other stuff, like Baduism, to me.

Oh man, Adele, one of the queens of 2010's radio. I remember when the singles for this album were coming out and I had a friend who listened to the radio a lot ask me if I heard of this song and I thought she was talking about Hello by Lionel Richie, so I went along with whatever she was talking about until she brought up Adele by name lol. Anyway, Adele as always produces something great with her gorgeous voice and accomplished songwriting, and 25 shows off her talent immensely.

It's fine if not a little plain, but I'm still a bit biased because it's an album in one of my favorite genres. Love the vocals.

Really lovely. Nick Drake was a really talented musician and songwriter, and his debut album is no stranger to his darker and more raw thoughts.

Really not a fan of AC/DC sorry to say. When I think of Hard Rock bands I don't groove with, they're usually the first on my mind. Lucky for them, they have one song I sort of like, but unfortunately it's not on this album.
