great follow up album to snow angel. took a bit for this project to grow on me and initially felt this was a step down in quality from snow angel, but with time have found myself to love this project more and more. So many standouts i find myself returning to, and also my first full skip in renee's discography :0

greatttt debut album, with a great mix of upbeat and slower songs. - personality shines through - had this album on repeatttttt when it came out

What a strange album. Extremely overhyped, much more than it warranted, and I personally was very excited for the Sabrina feature, to be a poorly written Greatest Showman cut. I really wanted to like this, as i thoroughly enjoyed TTPD, and was looking forward to a folklore type 1989 meets reputation, and this wasnt that at all. Coming from a fan, this is for sure one of her worst albums that i really have had little desire to return to or press play on.

ughhhh I just love Chris Lanzon. One of my favourite and so so SO underrated artists. This music is just beautiful to the ears. Such a well-crafted and joyous project that just feels so homely and comforting. The lyrics, the live instruments, it's a consistent, short, but also perfectly lengthened project that I know I will be listening to for years and years to come!! What a gorgeous yet dark album. Need to listen to it more to get to know it better as i feel like the album did become a source of listeners fatigue with its sound, but i loved this so so much!! It was a harrowing experience for sure, but it felt like a project he needed to make for himself and part of a healing process from a dark past.
Favourites = drawn to the blood, death with dignity, should have known better, all of me wants all of you, blue bucket of gold
