i would call myself a 1975 fan, but i just cannot come back to this. it's unfortunately forgettable. maybe i just need to listen to it more but i don't have any desire to, where the other albums had bangers that i can listen to to no end, i did not find that here. i equate it to them copying their old sounds and it just comes out more gray than the album cover on the other end.

1975 kinda odd in the sense that they can have some absolute bangers and drop the ball really hard and make something really forgettable. this album really just has the best banger to forgettable ratio. also, "i like america..." is probably one of their best songs i don't care if it's different, autotune goes hard.
