I mean im not her target demographic whatsoever so i feel like im missing bits of relatability this album is trying to capitalize off, to me anyway, its a generally pleasant album but i felt like her voice was almost lost in the mixing and didnt add any anticipation for the high points in the album
There was just something weird about this. Like a missing element to the songs that didnt make it sound like swans. Still had some good highpoints. Live versions of the songs were way better

Going back i think blood promise is an absolutely flawless track. The things i would sacrifice to witness it live. Going to see them live next friday :))))
Didnt want to say this when i first listened to this but. Its better than daughters.
Edit: a lot of thought has gone into this but i believe this album aligns to me perfectly so in my eyes its a perfect album. I wish i was this band.

This feels like the end. Like the end of this music as we know it and we just watch the history of it all just come back into one. I was so anxious about this album not being up to my standard but its honestly shocked me how good this is. Finally picked out some time to spare (12:30am, big mistake) to listen to this album with my senses completely isolated which i havent done in a while so i was hesitant if i was gonna be able to have the patience to sit through the whole record but it was so worth it
