Good Kid - Rift

Wow. Good kid completely blew it out of the water on this track. My problems with their last ep (the lack of experimentation) are all solved with this one track. If Good kid 5 can live up to this, it might be their best work yet.

STOMACH BOOK - GOODNIGHT HYPNOPOMP
68

Goodnight Hypnopomp draws more inspiration from Sophomore Slump Callithump and strays away from Vivis self titled. Theres nothing inherently wrong with her making a album that doesnt sound the same as her first, but Goodnight Hympnopomp sounds like it keeps the same couple melodies and drum beats throughout the whole album. That doesnt mean the album is bad though, FUKOUNA GIRL exploded in popularity in the last few months, defiently for good reasons. FUKOUNA GIRL is a standout in this album, ... read more

Good Kid - Good Kid 4
63

I've been a good kid fan for years, but after listening to this album again ive realized something: I've been listening to the same 20ish songs with different names.
Dont get me wrong, good kid 4 is good, but it really gets to a point where experimentation is needed
Edit: cobie is right, there is a trumpet

The Living Tombstone - Rust

Wow, people really dont like this album. Personally, I see this as the right direction for tlt. Its a shame that people are clinging on to Five Nights at Freddy's nostalgia.

Black Dresses - Forever In Your Heart
75

Forever In Your Heart is the first album from Black Dresses that I've listened too after being recommended countless times. The first track, PEACESIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, is a strong start to a fairly decent album. Bulldozer, however, seemed like the worst off of the album. After that track, the album picks back up to being above average. Some tracks reminded me of AJR, but that was just something small I noted. Overall, Forever In Your heart is good at what it is. It's not ... read more

Panchiko - D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L

D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L is a wonderful album. It's sound is good, but it's not revolutionary. However, Panchiko's D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L has a story of becoming that I've never heard from an album before. (i recomend Boden's video on the album). D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L itself is fine. Nothing too amazing. A stand-out track to me is "Laputa", a nice somber break between "Stabilizers For ... read more

Origami Angel - Feeling Not Found
76

Feeling Not Found definitely feels like a tried successor to Origami Angel's "Gami Gang", but it doesn't itch the same scratch. Feeling Not Found is full of hit-or-miss tracks. Highs of the album, for me at least, include "Where Blue Light Blooms", "Underneath My Skin" and "Dirty Mirror Selfie". Its lows, however, can drag the album down. "secondgradefoofight" and "Sixth Cents (Get It?)" seem like they're from a ... read more

"@wackyloll ok so when the main critique is that the album sounds too noisy on a noise album, its obvious they aren't fit to review a noise album. Also I want to point out the review came out about 20 minutes after the 40 minute album came out"
