Goodnight Hypnopomp draws more inspiration from Sophomore Slump Callithump and strays away from Vivis self titled. Theres nothing inherently wrong with her making a album that doesnt sound the same as her first, but Goodnight Hympnopomp sounds like it keeps the same couple melodies and drum beats throughout the whole album. That doesnt mean the album is bad though, FUKOUNA GIRL exploded in popularity in the last few months, defiently for good reasons. FUKOUNA GIRL is a standout in this album, ... read more
I've been a good kid fan for years, but after listening to this album again ive realized something: I've been listening to the same 20ish songs with different names.
Dont get me wrong, good kid 4 is good, but it really gets to a point where experimentation is needed

Forever In Your Heart is the first album from Black Dresses that I've listened too after being recommended countless times. The first track, PEACESIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, is a strong start to a fairly decent album. Bulldozer, however, seemed like the worst off of the album. Feeling Not Found definitely feels like a tried successor to Origami Angel's "Gami Gang", but it doesn't itch the same scratch. Feeling Not Found is full of hit-or-miss tracks. Highs of the album, for me at least, include "Where Blue Light Blooms", "Underneath My Skin" and "Dirty Mirror Selfie". Its lows, however, can drag the album down. "secondgradefoofight" and "Sixth Cents (Get It?)" seem like they're from a ... read more
