I actually think this is a little worse the TSSLP. It’s not as consistent as its predecessor and lacks the same amount of replay ability.

This is the first Eminem album I’ve ever listened to and I can definitely see why he has such a large cult following. His early work definitely outshines the early work from other artists.

I'm slightly disappointed Cudi didn't take this EP in the same direction he took with Free. The album seemed like it was leading Cudi to fully integrate that new sound into newer music following it's release but it would appear that that's not what Cudi is aiming for.
