Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away
83

Even the music video is just a montage of a bunch of people dancing to it it’s like they knew this song was gonna bang

Kenta Nagata - Mario Kart 64: Race Tracks
90

Toad’s Turnpike, Choco Mountain and Rainbow Road are legendary tracks

Kelly Clarkson - Move You
80

Kelly knows how to deliver powerful lines that seem simple on paper. A highlight of MOL for sure

Kelly Clarkson - Low
75

This song sounds so similar to Losing Grip by Avril, anyways it’s good

Brooke Hogan - The Redemption
45

She even looks like Britney on the cover. Hey Yo is not bad

Brooke Hogan - Undiscovered
50

Fun ringtone pop

Cyndi Lauper - A Night to Remember
72

Her most consistent album of her 80s work, and her voice is beautiful

Cyndi Lauper - Hat Full of Stars
68

I see the vision and definitely note the change in sound from the 80s to the early 90s. This album is all over the place. Cyndi’s most beautiful ballads come from this album but it also has some tracks that are kinda boring. And theres something really weird about putting Christmas in a title of a non Christmas song but it’s not a big deal

Favorites: That’s What I Think
Who Let In The Rain
Sally’s Pigeons
Hat Full of Stars

Madonna - Beautiful Stranger
85

I wish Madonna had a whole album like this song. I love Ray of Light but it's a very ambient, reflective and at times cold album. I have to be in a certain mood to listen to ROL. This is an easy and fun listen

Madonna - Like a Virgin
75

I like it
And shoo be doo is catchy and I like it

P!nk - Just Like a Pill
83

This song’s chorus goes on and on in my head in an endless loop sometimes

Björk - Debut
80

Debut!! I love the experimentalness of her later albums but the jazziness and house on this one makes me feel good

Favorites: Aeroplane, The Anchor Song, There’s More to Life, Crying, Like Someone in Love

Cyndi Lauper - Sisters of Avalon
68

Title track is one of my favorite Cyndi songs

Michelle Branch - The Spirit Room
73

Drop in the ocean is super underrated

Best: Everywhere, Goodbye to You, You Set Me Free, You Get Me, Drop in the Ocean

Björk - Homogenic
85

78 -> 85
My pop fried brain really struggled to understand this album at first. Idk if it’s the season change or repeated listens but I kinda do get it now

The feel I get from the tracks ranges from human and familiar (Alarm Call) to ice cold and alien (Pluto) and they’re all great, especially the first 4 tracks and the last 3. There’s no way Madonna wasn’t inspired by Homogenic for Ray of Light, the parallels are there

Favorites: Joga, Pluto, Alarm Call

Mariah Carey - Charmbracelet
72

This album was done DIRTY it has a niche to it that no other Mariah album carries. it's very cozy and personal. If you don't go into this album expecting a Butterfly or TEOM performance you'll enjoy it :)

Favorites: Boy (I need you), The One, You had Your chance, Lullaby

Adele - 21
81

Born in 2000 so I grew up on the singles to this album and Adele in general. Her voice is beautiful and every song is great
Favorites: Someone Like You, Turning Tables, Lovesong

Mariah Carey - Merry Christmas
